Our Pastor

Reverend Tony Kent

 

Pastor Kent was ordained with the Assemblies of God in July, 1986. He is married to Donna Dillard Kent and they have been married for 32 years. They are blessed with two children.

 

Tony and Donna started their ministry in 1977 in Tallahassee, Florida as Youth Pastors of the former Southside Assembly of God.  They have also served in missions; both have been to Baranquilla, Colombia, Donna on an AIM Trip, and Tony Working with Latin American Child Care on a Maps Mission.  Tony has worked also in Peru as well as in Bogata, Colombia.  The Kent’s have a sincere passion for missions and love taking others on trips with them and watching the Love for Missions be multiplied.

 

Pastor Tony and Donna have ministered in different capacities in the following churches:

 

• Abundant Life Assembly of God in Century, Florida - Pastor;
• Evangel Assembly of God Tallahassee, Florida - Youth Pastor;
• Berea Assembly of God in Berea, Kentucky – Pastor;
• Cathedral of Praise in Toledo, Ohio – Administrative Pastor;
• Sanctuary at Conway in Orlando, Florida – Worship Pastor;
• Cornerstone Assembly of God in Griffin, Georgia - Pastor. 

Pastor Kent has served the Districts he’s worked in various capacities as well – Sectional Assistant Presbyter, Secretary, Youth, also lead Worship on several occasions in District Functions.

 

Worship is very important to Pastor Kent. He is a musician that loves to minister in song often and has developed in every church that he’s been a part of a sense of excellence in the Worship Ministries. Student ministries are also important to the Kent’s no matter the age.
